Founded in 2012 at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, ePropulsion is dedicated to providing the most innovative products for all water enthusiasts. The overall R&D field includes: electric propulsion for boats, underwater intelligent robotics, and water electric products.
ePropulsion now has more than 200 employees, among which 30%-40% are R&D talents. With its strong R&D capabilities, ePropuslion has obtained nearly one hundred patents and nearly two hundred patents are being processed. Moreover, ePropulsion was also the first company to introduce brushless direct drive technology and FOC (field-oriented control) into the electric outboard market.
