As one of the important events of World Ocean Week in Xiamen, China (Xiamen) International Boat Show (hereinafter referred to as “Xiamen International Boat Show”) is a professional boat show . Since 2008, held at Wuyuan Bay Yatch Marina in Xiamen every November, it has become an annual complex international boat event integrating “exhibitions, forums, competitions, and activities”, and it is known as the most influential water boat show.

In 2012, Xiamen Boat Show became a member of IFBSO (International Federation of Boat Show Organizers). It is the second boat show in China to join IFBSO after that in Shanghai in 2008 and the sixth boat show in Asia after those in Dubai, Singapore, Tokyo, Shanghai and South Korea, and it is also one of the youngest shows of IFBSO. In 2015 and 2018, Xiamen International Boat Show established partnerships with Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in Australia and Taiwan International Boat Show, which fully shows the increasing international influence of Xiamen International Boat Show.

The 16th China (Xiamen) International Boat Show will continue to adopt the mode of online display and offline experience. The online exhibition is mainly intended to showcase ships and equipment accessories at home and abroad, enhance professional and international exhibition and marketing functions, and realize the convergence of yacht industry chains. The offline exhibition will create an open, experience-based yacht exhibition both onshore and offshore, showcase ship brands and beachfront cultural tourism products at home and abroad around the theme of marine leisure, organize extensive marine cultural experience activities, and create an unique style coastal and on-site activities.
